These pictures are from the last few days. I tried to put more pictures in, but that didn’t happen. Just glad I got these few posted! yay!
Beautiful!!! You sound soooo happy now. Congrats
I really am happy! 🙂
Yippie!!!!!!! That is great!!!! Please always remember do NOT pull in front of an 18 wheeler even if you think you have enough room.
Twins, I see two sets!

OMG, I try to be so careful! I don’t want to pull out in front of a 2 wheeler even if I think I have enough room! :-)))))))
Yes, 2 sets. Well, Joy and Shiloh are the same breed but they are sure not twins!
I’m so proud of you, Micky! What’s 20 minutes? Next time will be quicker…practice makes perfect…and all the other old chestnuts you’ve heard. In this case, so true. You WILL get better and better…no doubt in my mind. You and Michael (Zenonwheels) are doing so well and I couldn’t be more proud. I know the pups are so glad to be on the road with you.
Cat Lady
Hugs to you Cat Lady! Thank you! 🙂 Yes, there was a picture I wanted to post with the other Golden we met last night that wouldn’t show up, but Joy and Shiloh are having all kinds of new experiences too. They are so adaptable, bless their little hearts! And they really did keep me warm last night!
Great pictures Micky! So proud of you backing in….as Cat Lady said, what’s 20 minutes? haha
I was checking in and the lady and I were talking and I told her about my backing up problem. She encouraged me to practice there because the RV park was quite empty and the roads were quite wide. She also told me no one would watch. 🙂
Congrats on backing in ! Great job!
That will be my weakness. I can’t even back up my little Honda if I have to rely on the side view mirrors. The distances just don’t seem right. So good on you!
Thanks for posting the photos. And thanks for responding to my questions on the previous post. C
I had a Honda Civic before I bought the Ford F150. I bought I bought the Ford 2 years ahead because I figured it would take me that long to get used to driving it. I’m not what you would call a quick study I guess! :-))
Only 20 minutes? I’m impressed, sincerely! I love the photo of the sky with the puffy clouds. Doug and I call that an “Alberta sky”. I do hope you make it there someday, I don’t have too much experience of Canada, but Alberta is gorgeous.
I long for the skill of the guy at the state park in Oregon who backed me up in one smooth move. Ok even if it just took me 5 minutes… Even that would be great! 🙂
Do you know how Canada handles the dog situation?
I don’t know about Canada, but I will research it for you.
thanks Maureen!
I sent you a link via email. It looks like you only need a rabies certificate, although there are requirements that certain details be included on the certificate.
Got it Maureen, thank you!
I just moved from Seattle after living there for 30+ yrs. Many summers I would take my dogs tent camping on Vancouver Island. You’re supposed to have a rabies certificate to cross the border with your dogs … in all those yrs I was never asked. But you darn well that if I DIDN’T have one, they would have asked for it!!
There are rules about food items that can be taken across the border. If you’re contemplating a trip to Canada, best to look at the border crossing web site. (And you need a passport)

Thank you for the website Caroline. I do have a brand new passport!
Beautiful pictures! Really takes me away!
The pictures are calling you Mary. 🙂
Great job Mickey! You Rock;) Beautiful pictures as always. Thank you for posting. Miss you:)
Thinking of you all with all the staffing changes. Hope everyone is fitting into their new shifts and roles. Miss you too! Hugs! Tell everyone hi!
Micky, I am loving your blogs! Thank you so much!
xoxo
Lynn
Gosh Lynn, thank you for loving it! I’m just feeling so content right now….love sharing it.
Loving all your adventures!!! 🙂
Loving yours on FB too! Wow!!
Congratulations on your developing parking skills. Good for you! I know what you mean about photos not truly capturing the majesty of a scene. It’s hard to get the scope, scale and spirit of a place in a photo. Still, those are some awesome photos! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Michael
You got it Michael….it’s the spirit they don’t capture, and it’s very different without the spirit, but it’s something, and maybe it will encourage others to come see….and feel….
Love the pictures. One thing I’ve never understood is when folks say “Why go see xxx in person when I can see it better on television.” Those folks are missing out on soooo much. No picture or television show can ever adequately show the reality of the beautiful places in our country. As you said, the pictures don’t really capture the spirit of the place but they are better than nothing for those of use that are stuck in one place for now.
Exactly Reine. And when I’ve seen pictures or seen things on tv, I never realize what I’m missing. It’s all good, but being there is…..WOW! 🙂
You are so brave to do this all on your own! We are so happy you can do this and are getting to be a real pro at parking!! Wish we were nearer to you!!!!
Oh my goodness I’m FAR from a pro at parking!
But I am thankful I am able to do this and learn as I go. Seeing all this beauty is just knocking my socks off!
