Beginnings & Endings…more or less

Spring, always a new beginning and time of renewal even here on the desert.

Not in the forest anymore, but it’s still green here!

Our dog walk this morning was in a wash rather like a tiny canyon…peaceful with bunnies and birdsong and blooms all around us….

But it was our last dog walk together…at least for now… an ending.   Kerry has other obligations to attend to and it’s time for her to move on.

We first met at the Quartzsite dog park in late November and except for the holidays, have been hanging out together since then.

We have hopes of getting together again, but no solid plans at this time.  Full time RVing plans can be so jello-ish….

Annabelle, Joy, and Shiloh, along with Kerry and I have been ‘the pack’.  My part of the pack watch Kerry and Annabelle pull away this morning.  I  hope that having them witness the leaving will help Joy and Shiloh understand about the separation.  I think they do.

Annabelle smiling earlier this morning.  Wanted to close the blog in a more positive way!

Bye Kerry and Annabelle.  We miss you already!

    Annabelle :
‘Tis almost morning, I would have thee gone—
And yet no farther than a wan-ton’s bird,
That lets it hop a little from his hand,
Like a poor prisoner in his twisted gyves,
And with a silken thread plucks it back again,
    So loving-jealous of his liberty.

    Joy and Shiloh:
I would I were thy bird.

    Annabelle:
    Sweet, so would I,
Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing.
Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.

My apologies to Juliet, Romeo and Shakespeare.
