Falls down from above
Releasing the love.
Nourishment dripping
Thirsty trees sipping.
The earth’s so parched and dry
I hear her joyous cry.
Birdsongs abound
Songs of praise all around.
Wildflowers dance
Their colors enhance.
Grateful fourleggeds smile
With relief for awhile.
Clouds pour down
Soak the dry dusty ground!
