Pictures with ‘Catching Up…”

I think the pictures are probably all out of order. Not sure what size they will turn out….but here goes…

What a special person you must be that the humming bird sat with you so long. Your pictures are great. I want to start a blog as well but not even sure how to begin! We hopefully can start our full time journey soon and will have wonderful things to post as well. Your journey looks like you are truly enjoying it.

    • Hi Queennonna, I’m glad you are here! That is wonderful that you will be full timing soon! I think you will enjoy your new lifestyle…so much to learn and so much to see.
That little hummingbird just blew me away, I’ve never had an experience like that before!

The blog…believe me I didn’t know what I was doing at first either. And as you may notice, I’m still having questions about it. Start working with it before you actually want to start posting, so you have time to get the hang of it.

Yes, it’s a Costa’s Hummingbird! That shortened (stumpy) tail gives it away…We saw lots of these in Palm Springs – we don’t see them back at home, where the Anna’s Hummingbird rules.

    enjoy!

The humming bird experience was wonderful – lucky you! And…that’s my kind of snake. Have been thinking about you – glad you posted my friend.

    • Hi Ruby. The guys who put that snake together had to be artists…with all that quartz they used for the diamonds all along his back, and the rattles. They even gave him a forked tongue. What’s more amazing is that no one has destroyed it for four years.

Pics look great. 640×480 seems like the perfect size. I can click on them and see them large enough to get detail and I bet your data usage will be cut by a bunch.

Sounds like you are in a truly magical spot. I have had a few close encounters with hummers over the years. Little nuggets of miracles.

    • Thanks for letting me know about the pictures Rick. When I was learning to change the picture size, I changed something from 1000 to 500. Today I couldn’t find that at all, just found small, medium, large designations. I picked medium. Glad to know it looks about right.
