I am really enjoying reading about your adventures. Thanks for taking the time to write. And welcome back to California, where we have plenty of fruit to replace the ones you gave away. Hugs!

    • Thank you Else, nice to be back, though so far I’ve only been in the desert. Will be making my way to the coast on Sunday! Tomorrow, Saturday, I’ll be replenishing my fruit and veggie supply. Pretty hard for a vegan to be without her fruits and veggies!

I’m so glad you are along for the ride, and glad you are enjoying it!

Really like your moms old house

    • It looks very different now. Those places used to be earth tones.
Linda did you notice what Phyllis said about the phone? You can change it in “settings” so it won’t roam! Check yours out!

Welcome back to California! Next time you’re in Tuscon, check out the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. It’s extraordinary.

    • I’ve been to the Desert Museum a couple of times! It’s off Kinney Road, which is the same road my moms street was off of, just about 10 or 15 miles on farther. I drove right past it when I left the area.

Your pictures make me homesick for when I lived in Arizona from 1974-1976. We lived at Ft. Huachuca, just an hour south of Tucson. Loved it!!!

    • Yes I remember seeing signs for Ft. Huachuca! I came in from the south east on I 10. Left on the back roads of the north west because that’s where I stayed. It is some beautiful landscape, for sure!

Welcome back to California! Your adventures are such fun to follow and your writing lovely.

    • Hi Carol! Big Sur still rates number one for me for a place of beauty and spirit, peace and mystery. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting to explore more wonderful places…
So glad you are with me on this journey.
