It’s always so great to be in a community of people–strangers, really–that you have something in common with. Your last photo looks so peaceful. And do we love our desserts! I love apple crisp too but have to have butter in the topping–do you use vegan margarine? I love your blog–thank you for being here.
We’ve used Smart Balance before–it tastes good. I nearly forgot–love your photos of people & their dogs! I love how we’re connected to our pets! Safe travels!
Looks like a great gathering of people and dogs and casitas. I am really enjoying following your journey and love the photos. There are many times I think I would love to do something like that but I imaginge it is so difficult doing it alone, even if being alone is a wonderful thing a lot of the time. Yes, you have your two loyal dogs, so I guess you aren´t really alone.
Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Hi Else, yes there are pros and cons to being alone. I’ve been basically alone so long it just seems natural for me. I love having the dogs with me and they are a major part of this. I’m kind of a loner by nature so this is really ok. Not that I don’t like people, I do. But I highly value my alone time, and I seem to need a lot of it.

Yes Dawn, I do use a vegan spread called Smart Balance.
I’m so glad you love the blog! Makes my day! 🙂

Thank you!
Is it just like a stones gathering, just with different t-shirts? 🙂
Looks great, you must be learning so much casita! Any comments on the Joel Pole?
And there was a shirt! I didn’t buy it though. Yes a few people wanted to know about the Joel Pole. Most thought it was quote nice…strong and sturdy.
