Cheyenne is still a hub of train activity, but the old train depot, front and center in downtown, is now remodeled and has become a museum.

Right across the street from the depot is “The Wrangler” still painted bright red. Buy all your cowboy and girl clothing here. Only a few thousand hats to choose from!

The Capitol Building!
And the stop sign!
Now for me, that is charming. π

Inside on the main floor.

Need to have a word with the governor? Come on in and help yourself to the candy bowl, be with you in a few minutes!

Where some of the business gets done.

Two grand staircases like this lead to the 2nd floor.

Stained glass inside the dome.

Shiloh and Joy were more impressed with all the green grass and Joy had plenty of rolls in it.

We visited the Wyoming State Capitol!

Wildflowers on the plains.

Joy wonders at it all.
Can hear Ray Charles singing America the Beautiful looking at your pictures….no wonder you love it there. Love Joy’s ruffled fur from rolling in the green grass envious….lucky dogs
