You make my heart sing.
You make everything groovy.
Wild thing, I think I love you.
The wild things are so beautiful!
We backtrack now, back to Cedar Ridge Campground near Temple, Texas, where Shiloh chased the deer. This time he seems in awe of them, as does Joy.
We leave Salmon Lake Park this morning. There are only a few Casitas left on the grounds. This has been a wonderful experience for me! I’ve met so many kind and helpful people and learned so much. Thank you Reine and Paul for everything! And yes I’m using the sway bar now. 🙂 I put it on for the first time with the help of Reine, Paul, and Walt! I also use my Jack-E-Up for the first time. It really works! I can now lower the tailgate while hooked up. What a luxury!
I loved the rally but that was a lot of socializing for me and I’m ready for some serious alone time. Having the Wild Things for company tonight is just perfect. (Joy and Shiloh agree) find them mysterious and alluring and enchanting…wildness is so precious! We so need to protect the wildness.
I want to be part of it!

Sounds like you had a great time! I know what you mean about having things in or on your RV that you do not know how to use. It is great when someone helps me learn how to use it. Where are you heading now? I went to the Grand Canyon for 7 days and it was BEYOND fantastic. I am now in Cottonwood AZ trying to figure out what to do next. I came down here from Flagstaff because it was a bit warmer. Keep on keeping on girl. Stay Safe!!! xxoo
Hi Krystina, so glad you got to spend time at the Grand Canyon. You aren’t far from Montezuma Castle Monument, Sedona, and lots of wonderful things. I hope to spend some time in that area a bit later, or quite a bit later depending on the weather. Do you have your Benchmark map book of Arizona…that will help you find wonderful places!
I need to go back to Monterey again! My son is engaged and there is going to be a big party. After Thanksgiving I’ll head south…hope we meet up!
Seems like you just got there. If you get a chance take a picture of that Jack E thing. My tailgate hits my roll down thingy, so I’d like to see what your set up is. Paul and Reine are just all over the place. I post things sometimes on the Casita Forum and they are always there to help.
Excited to see where you are going next.

I do have a picture of the Jack-E-Up. Don’t know how to post it in replies but if I can’t get it here somehow I’ll post it in the next blog. Also it’s on You Tube, just search it. I watched the you tube video and still didn’t understand how it worked though. That’s probably just me. 🙂
What is your roll down thingie? Not sure if it works with roll down thingies.
Reine and Paul are out on the road now, enjoying their little house.
Paul and Reine are definitely enjoying their little house. And a bit like Micky, we enjoyed just chillin last evening at a COE park. Today we’re in Cedar Park visiting with Paul’s mom and doing laundry at his sister’s. FYI to clarify about the Jack-e-up. It works with a standard tongue jack and definitely solved Micky’s problem. If you have an electric tongue jack, it’s not appropriate.
Now you have “been there – done that” – wonderful all the bits were fixed up or added to – new friends made. Enjoy your ME time ….Cheers……
Yes you got it Leslie. We were listening to the coyotes howl tonight and I wanted to howl with them!
